Sony PlayStation 4 Uncharted 4 Limited Edition Controller (2016)

The DualShock 4 of 2013 reinvented the PlayStation controller with a touchpad, a glowing light bar, a built-in speaker and the Share button that helped make game streaming mainstream. This limited edition celebrates Nathan Drake’s final adventure, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, with a special shell design made only for this release. Limited runs like this are hard to find today, which makes it a true collector’s piece.

Behind the glass is something you rarely get to see: the inside of a limited edition DualShock 4 that once lived in someone’s hands, backpack or living room. Our studio members spend hours on each piece, from disassembly and cleaning to designing the layout and producing the final frame, all by hand in Los Angeles. We grew up with these devices, and every build is our way of giving a beloved piece of gaming history a second life.

WHAT’S IN THE FRAME

A NOTE ON CHARACTER

Each piece is built from a real pre-owned device, so light scratches or small signs of age may show. We think they are part of its story.
