Apple Magic Mouse (2009)

Introduced in 2009, the Apple Magic Mouse was the first mouse with a multi-touch surface: no buttons, no scroll wheel, just one smooth sheet of glass-like plastic you swipe and tap. Its minimalist design became a symbol of the Mac desk.

Most people never get to see what is inside the hardware that powered their games, work and late nights. At FunBox Design, our studio team takes every Magic Mouse apart by hand: careful disassembly, deep cleaning of every single part, layout design, and final production in our Los Angeles workshop. It takes hours of patient, screw-by-screw work, because this hardware holds some of our own best memories too. Our goal is simple: bring it a second life.

A NOTE ON CHARACTER

Each piece is built from real used hardware, so light scratches or small signs of use may show. We think they are part of its story.
