Nintendo Super Famicom Controller (1990)

The Super Famicom controller of 1990 introduced shoulder buttons and the diamond of four colorful A/B/X/Y buttons, a layout that almost every modern controller still uses today. It was the controller behind Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Street Fighter II and Final Fantasy, the golden age of 16-bit gaming.

We know how much a Super Famicom controller can mean, because we grew up with them too. Every piece starts with a real device that our studio team disassembles by hand, cleans part by part, lays out and mounts in our Los Angeles workshop. It is slow, careful work, and it finally lets you see the engineering hidden inside the device you once spent countless hours with. This is how we bring it a second life.

A NOTE ON CHARACTER

Each piece is built from a real pre-owned device, so light scratches or small signs of age may show. We think they are part of its story.
