HTC Dream G1 (2008)

Every Android phone in the world started here. Released in 2008, the HTC Dream, sold as the T-Mobile G1, was the first phone ever to run Android, with a slide-out keyboard, a trackball and its famous angled “chin.” Today it is a true milestone of mobile history.

We know how much a HTC Dream G1 can mean, because we lived with them too. Every piece starts with a real device that our studio team disassembles by hand, cleans part by part, lays out and mounts in our Los Angeles workshop. It is slow, careful work, and it finally lets you see the engineering hidden inside the phone you once held every day. This is how we bring it a second life.

A NOTE ON CHARACTER

Each piece is built from a real pre-owned device, so light scratches or small signs of age may show. We think they are part of its story.
