Apple iPhone 5 Square Frame (2012)

The iPhone 5 of 2012 stretched the screen to 4 inches, introduced the Lightning connector that Apple used for over a decade, and wrapped it all in a thin, precision-machined aluminum body. Inside, the A6 was the first chip Apple designed from the ground up.

Most people never get to see what is inside the phone that stayed in their pocket every day for years. At FunBox Design, our studio team takes every iPhone 5 apart by hand: careful disassembly, deep cleaning of every single part, layout design, and final production in our Los Angeles workshop. It takes hours of patient, screw-by-screw work, because these devices hold some of our own best memories too. Our goal is simple: bring them a second life.

A NOTE ON CHARACTER

Each piece is built from a real pre-owned device, so light scratches or small signs of age may show. We think they are part of its story.
