The Game Boy Advance turned Nintendo’s handheld sideways in 2001, with a wide screen, shoulder buttons and a 32-bit ARM processor that made it feel like a Super Nintendo in your hands. Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion and Fire Emblem defined a whole era of portable gaming on this little machine.

A NOTE ON CHARACTER
Each piece is built from a real pre-owned device, so light scratches or small signs of age may show. We think they are part of its story.
03 / From the workbench
Made by hand in Los Angeles.
We know how much a Game Boy Advance can mean, because we grew up with them too. Every piece starts with a real device that our studio team disassembles by hand, cleans part by part, lays out and mounts in our Los Angeles workshop. It is slow, careful work, and it finally lets you see the engineering hidden inside the device you once spent countless hours with. This is how we bring it a second life.
