Sony PlayStation Portable PSP-3000 (2008)

The PSP-3000 of 2008 was the final evolution of Sony’s first handheld, with a brighter, richer screen and a built-in microphone. It played the full PSP library on tiny UMD optical discs, from God of War: Ghost of Sparta to Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep.

We know how much a PSP can mean, because we grew up with them too. Every piece starts with a real device that our studio team disassembles by hand, cleans part by part, lays out and mounts in our Los Angeles workshop. It is slow, careful work, and it finally lets you see the engineering hidden inside the device you once spent countless hours with. This is how we bring it a second life.

WHAT’S IN THE FRAME

• Size: 15.4″ x 12.5″ x 2″ (approx. 39 x 32 x 5 cm)
• Comes in a gift box, ready to give
• Handmade by the FunBox Design studio in Los Angeles

A NOTE ON CHARACTER

Each piece is built from a real pre-owned device, so light scratches or small signs of age may show. We think they are part of its story.
