Microsoft Xbox One Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Limited Edition Controller (2014)

The Xbox One controller of 2013 refined Microsoft’s classic design with a new D-pad and Impulse Triggers, small rumble motors inside each trigger that let you feel every shot and engine rev. This limited edition was released in 2014 to celebrate the exo-suit era of Call of Duty, with a special shell design you could not get on a regular controller. Limited runs like this are hard to find today, which makes it a true collector’s piece.

Most people never get to see what is inside the device that kept them company for so many years. At FunBox Design, our studio team takes every limited edition Xbox controller apart by hand: careful disassembly, deep cleaning of every single part, layout design, and final production in our Los Angeles workshop. It takes hours of patient, screw-by-screw work, because these machines hold some of our own best memories too. Our goal is simple: bring them a second life.

A NOTE ON CHARACTER

Each piece is built from a real pre-owned device, so light scratches or small signs of age may show. We think they are part of its story.
